Pakistan v South Africa, 2nd ODI, Abu Dhabi - Razzaq wins it for Pakistan


Pakistan 289 for 9 wickets (Razzaq 109*, Afridi 49) beat South Africa 286 for 8 wickets (Ingram 100, Amla 65, Duminy 54) by one wicket

Striking 10 sixes and seven fours, Abdul Razzaq took Charl Langeveldt and Albie Morkel to the cleaners in snatching victory for the PakistanisAbdul Razzaq broke South Africa's ten-match winning streak with an onslaught that even in the era of Twenty20 stood out for its brutality. Razzaq launched an astonishing assault to smash anunbeaten 109 from just 72 balls and seal victory with one ballto spare.

South Africa scored a huge total of 286 for the loss of eight wickets with help of a 25-year-old left-hander Colin Ingram who scored a century (his second century in just five matches) and rapid half-centuries from opener Hashim Amla and middle-order batsman J-P Duminy.

Pakistan seemed certain to lose when they crawled to 135 for five in the 30th over before Razzaq rewrote the script and blasted 14 runs from thefinal over from just five balls to square the series at 1-1.

The third match takes place in Dubai on Tuesday.
